Keeping the Balance while Collaborating


Collaborating with a child brings endless rewards and priceless memories, but there is a very fine balance that you have to try to maintain. As much as you want to remain the "parent" you have to let that go in order to collaborate as one. 

No one is in charge, you are equals and artistic peers on a journey of self discovery and creative adventures. 

Respect and teamwork are constant lessons for everyone involved and you have to be prepared and open for the tables to turn at any moment, which is exactly how my watercolor portrait became a bearded "Cinderella."
