So there is that whole "terrible twos" stigma that I have been determined to believe was only a myth. Parents had clearly made it up to gain sympathy from their non parent friends and coworkers.
Well, I was wrong. So terribly wrong.
We have now entered the terrible twos with Eve and when coupled with an ear infection it is amplified to a degree that has Mike and I running for the hills, a.k.a hiding under the bed sheets.
One of the most frustrating things about the "terrible twos" would definitely be the NO's. Eve will literally use the word for every answer possible thinking you obviously know what she really means. As it becomes more and more obvious to the toddler that you lack the basic ability to understand them, the more frustrated they get.
From there it only escalates eventually leading to a death stare followed by the silent treatment.
